Bridge Housing
RecoveryWorks Purchases Mountain View Flats
On January 18, 2024, RecoveryWorks purchased the 34-unit Mountain View Inn motel at 14825 W. Colfax in Lakewood and renamed it Mountain View Flats. This facility serves as the home of our Bridge Housing program, offering immediate, short-term housing for unhoused neighbors of Jefferson County.
Guest Identification and Services
Bridge Housing program participants are identified through the Navigation Center at 8000 W. Colfax, also operated by RecoveryWorks, as well as from local Housing Navigators and other homeless services providers. We prioritize guests who face significant barriers to stable housing, including veterans, adults over 55, persons with disabilities and those who are medically frail.
On-Site Support
Bridge Housing program at Mountain View Flats provides on-site comprehensive case management to assist guests in quickly accessing and transitioning to permanent housing solutions. An onsite resident manager provides 24/7 emergency support. Guests have access to primary and behavioral health care services.
Facility Amenities
All rooms include individually controlled heat, air, microwave, refrigerator, and TV. Ten rooms feature kitchenettes with a stove and full refrigerator. The facility is conveniently located near bus lines, light-rail, grocery stores, and other services.
Funding
The project is currently funded by the State of Colorado’s Division of Housing through the Transformational Affordable Housing Grant program (American Rescue Plan Act funding), Jefferson County Community Development (ARPA funding), and The Recovery Foundation.
